B&B IN LOWER HOUSE
UNFORTUNATELY OUR B&B IS CLOSED AT THE MOMENT

Our two sunny first floor guest rooms overlook the front lawn and borders. Guests enter the house through their own front door, leading into the large, beamed drawing room with its inglenook fireplace and Welsh dresser. This room is reserved solely for guests; relax by the fire, read the papers or one of our many books; play the 1907 Bluthner grand piano or in the warmer months sit in our lovely conservatory.
There are always fresh flowers from the garden in the drawing room and in the guest bedrooms. When you first arrive you will be offered tea and home made cake [between 4pm and 6pm]

THE OAK ROOM
UNFORTUNATELY OUR B&B IS CLOSED AT THE MOMENT

This room, with oak panelling and beams, has a comfortable traditional brass and iron bedstead with very comfortable mattress, feather & down duvet & pillows & good quality bed linen. There is an adjoining wood panelled sitting room for your own private use. Beyond the sitting room is an overflow room: the wood panelled Map Room, also with double iron bedstead. This room is only let to guests in the same party as the Oak Room as they share the Oak Room's large separate bathroom. If you occupy the Oak Room only, you will, of course, have the private bathroom to yourselves. Please note that the bathroom is not en suite but is a few steps along the corridor. The bathroom has a bath big enough for two and a good quality shower.
The Oak Room sitting room has a well-stocked tea tray and a large selection of books.

Each of the three rooms has a retro Roberts radio. The Rose Room & the Oak Room sitting room have TV/DVD players. The rooms are also supplied with hairdryers and dressing gowns.
There is free WiFi throughout the house.

"What a wonderful stay! Delicious breakfast, beautiful gardens and a bed to die for!
