Lower House sits in its own romantic and self-contained 7-acre valley. As you cross the Dulas Brook, via our small stone bridge, to come up our private drive, you pass from England into Wales. We are in the Brecon Beacons National Park [now a designated Dark Sky Reserve]; the Offa's Dyke Path passes behind the house. From your bed you can hear the sound of the small stream, which runs in front of the house.
We have been working on the house and garden for over 25 years. The rambling house is largely 18th century with older parts. The exceptional garden has been featured in many magazines [see our Press page] and there is much of interest for guests to enjoy in every season. We welcome visits from people who would like to see our garden between April and October. Please contact us first. "Thank you for making us feel so welcome. It has been wonderful to stay in such a beautiful, peaceful place, and to be able to spend time in your outstanding garden " S & I London August 2012 |
