DEPOSITS & TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR B&B & SELF-CATERING

LOWER HOUSE B&B GUESTS:
DEPOSITS & TERMS & CONDITIONS

We ask for a deposit equal to one night's stay per room booked [for short stays of 2-4 nights]. NB deposits adjusted for longer or group stays. We do not take cards. The deposit can be paid by cheque [made out to Nicky Daw] or by bank transfer. [Email for details] There is a two night minimum stay in the B&B

CANCELLATIONS
If you cancel more than 14 days before your arrival date, we will refund your deposit, although reserve the right to charge an administration fee, particularly for payments involving long stays, group stays or for guests who book from overseas. If you cancel fewer than 14 days before your arrival date, we will only refund your deposit if we re-let the room/rooms. If you cancel within 48 hours of your planned arrival, you are liable to pay the full cost of your stay. We are a very small business & we cannot carry the cost of last minute cancellations for whatever reason. Therefore, we strongly advise you to take out travel insurance.
NB These Terms & Conditions do not apply to the Hay Festival period. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ONCE YOU ARE HERE WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT BY CARD, ONLY CHEQUES OR CASH.





PLAS BACH SELF-CATERING STAYS
DEPOSITS & TERMS & CONDITIONS

We ask for a 50% deposit [cheque (made out to Nicky Daw) or bank transfer] to secure your booking, with the remainder paid 4 weeks before your stay. If you book within 4 weeks of your arrival date, we ask for the total cost to be paid. We do not take credit or debit card payments.

CANCELLATIONS
Please note, that your deposit is non refundable. If you cancel within one month of your stay, you are liable to pay the full cost, although we will endeavour to re-let for your dates. If we do manage to re-let for your dates and you have paid in full, we can refund 50% of the total cost, but only if you have re-booked for alternative dates. We are a very small business and cannot afford the losses that we incur when you cancel, for whatever reason; THEREFORE, WE STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO TAKE OUT APPROPRIATE HOLIDAY INSURANCE SO YOU CAN BE REIMBURSED IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL. NB These Terms & Conditions do not apply to bookings for the Hay Festival period.
